Jonathan Asanjarani

Data Analyst and Researcher

Welcome to my presentation!

As a dedicated data analyst with a background in psychology and data analysis, I am passionate about using data-driven insights to inform urban planning, transportation, and public policy. I hold a Bachelor of Arts in Psychology from St. Francis College and a Master of Science in Data Analysis and Visualization from the CUNY Graduate Center.

Currently, I am exploring the intersection of urban mobility, safety, and sustainability through comprehensive data analysis, focusing on cycling infrastructure in New York City. My work aims to contribute to more informed decision-making in urban transportation systems, with a special emphasis on cyclist safety and infrastructure improvements.

When I’m not working on urban data projects, I write for my blog, NYC Data Cafe, where I explore data journalism, music, crime, and the vibrant culture of New York City.
